Mazda brings the goods to SEMA 2013

Well, folks, after spending a year waiting anxiously for its arrival, SEMA 2013 has finally come and gone. As expected, it did not disappoint, thanks largely in part to three custom models courtesy of our favorite automaker here at Towne Mazda. And on the off chance that you missed them, it's time we caught you up to speed.

First up, there was the Mazda Ceramic 6 concept. Modeled after the 2014 Mazda6, the exterior of this concept lived up to its name with a Ceramic White finish and Taupe Silver accent stripes. It also boasted 20-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, a high-flow exhaust system and H&R springs. Those who looked inside were treated to premium soft leathers with intricate stitching and overlapping weave patterns.

Oh yes, it was a sight to see.

Speaking of which, there was also the Mazda Club Sport 3 concept. Based on the 2014 Mazda3, this hatchback in rally car's clothing came complete with a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter engine and a six-speed manual transmission. While we didn't catch its powertrain figures, it did get some additional torque thanks to its Wavetrac helical limited-slip differential.

Last but not least, there was Mazda Vector 3 concept, also inspired by the 2014 Mazda3. In addition to its H&R springs and Brembo brakes, the most attention-grabbing qualities of the Vector 3 were undoubtedly its Soul Red paint job and 19-inch wheels.

Unfortunately, we're not exactly getting our hopes up for these beauties to make their way to our dealership. But don't let that stop you from experiencing the models that inspired them with a visit to our dealership here in Redwood City, CA. After all, nothing beats the originals.
